10 Quirky Wedding Ideas

1.      Get Mini Blackboards for you place settings! Its Shabby Chic !

2.      DIY Photo Booth. Photo Booths are always fun at weddings, especially after a few drinks! http://www.photobooth.ie/ are amazing, you can hire the booth, a member of their team comes down and supervises everything, they also put a scrap book together for the Bride & Groom! They provide funny hats and masks for the pics too! But, if you are sticking to a budget then do it yourself, find an area in function room / bar, buy some disposable cameras and funny bits and bobs yourself and let your guests do the rest J

    3.      Keep your Corks and hang them on your wall to have a piece
of your wedding day. Ask the hotel / wedding venue to keep the corks used during the meal (they have to do this anyway!) then bring them home and make a
funky collage with them that you can keep forever

     4.      Table Names – Name the tables after a year and put a photo of the Bride & Groom from that year! It would be hard work but well worth it, your guests will want to go around to each table to see the pictures!

          5.      Cute sign for the Church J If you are friends with both the bride and groom there is always the issue, ‘which side will we sit in’? or the bride could have more friends or visa versa so here
is a lovely sign I came across

6.      Mini Bottles of Alcohol for your wedding favours
(www.justaglass.co.uk)!! Ok so maybe I just love this idea but
I know your guests will too :)  make sure it is ok with the Hotel / Wedding venue but 99% of the time they won’t mind!

             7.      DIY Hangover Packs for your guests (or just for your bridal party!). Pack of Tayto, can of coke, bottle of water and a Pack of Aspirin tied with a ribbon! Give the hotel / wedding venues the names of the rooms you would like them in J

           8. Is there kids going to your wedding? Have something there for them to keep them entertained. A little table with crayons and colouring books is simple to do and always goes down well, just make sure they stay away from your dress!

       9. Save the Dates are always a good idea! It gives people more time to prepare (and save) for your wedding! Send your guests something they can use, something they can put somewhere and not forget the date!! Fridge Magnets or Bookmakers are a good idea, www.vistaprint.ie is a great and inexpensive website for bits and bobs like this, you can design your own too so you can be as creative as you like!

         10. Honeymoon Items

A great way to capture the memories of your honeymoon is with
     the Honeymoon Memory Book.
The linen and brown cover closes with a tie. Inside are
50 pages to make entries or mount photographs. The result
will be a cherished keepsake like no other.
This Honeymoon Memory Book makes a great shower
or wedding gift for the Bride and Groom.

This two piece bikini with tie up sides come in either black or pink in a variation of sizes with diamonte stones saying 'Just Married' on the bottom.

These fun sandals are not only for the Bride and Groom.
Consider providing a pair for each of your attendants to wear while
they enjoy a day at the spa, the beach or even at the reception.
These also would make fabulous guest favours for weddings
with a beach or tropical theme.
